Stavros has started sailing, from small boats to larger racing boats, since the age of 10 at the sailing club of Volos. He grew up in Skiathos, spending most of his time diving and fishing underwater.
He has sailed all over the Aegean Sea and also the Black Sea. During winter when not sailing, he is engaged with his family’s goldsmith business. It is a business that started 95 years ago by his grandfather, a specialist in precious stones and jewellery making.
